Vitalograph is one of the world-leading manufacturers of medical Spirometers, used in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders, and advanced high-reliability software systems used in clinical drug trials. Based in Ennis, Co. Clare for over forty years, we now wish to recruit Project/ Audio Analysis Co-Ordinator to join our existing R&D team.

Project/Audio Analysis Coordinator - Specified Purpose Contract - Immediate Start


Role: The successful candidates will be responsible for the day to day running of the cough counting exercise.

The Project/Audio Analysis Co-Ordinator will be responsible for

  • The day to day to day coordination of the cough analysing process
  • Coordination and reporting of cough counted data
  • Coordination with the Software QA Manager & Supervisor to ensure issues with regard to cough recordings or cough data are addressed and where appropriate corrections applied and reported to the Sponsor.
  • Creation of the study specific Cough Analysis Plan & Summary documents
  • Analysing of cough files
  • Quality Control of the cough analysing process
  • Liaising with Supervisor & Software QA Manager to analyse all metrics gathered to drive efficiencies and process improvement



Minimum Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level
  • Attention to detail with capability for high levels of focus and concentration for long periods.
  • Analytical with an aptitude for problem finding and diagnosis
  • Hard working, motivated, reliable with a good attitude towards their co-workers.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
  • Competent person, capable of working under their own initiative with minimal supervision and a good team player.
  • Ability to use a computer and associated audio playing software
  • Experience with desktop application including MS Word, MS Excel & MS Project Manager
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills



The following skills are not required but would be advantageous:

  • Prior experience in a QA related discipline
  • Prior experience in a project co-ordinator/management role
  • Experience in Medical Device Industry or other regulated environment
  • Third level qualification in IT of Business discipline
